I know it's tough, I went through the same phase including the eyes which are still recovering and I said it in the last post also. You need to try and move around as much as possible . This has made a world of difference for me. I had a nice desk job before and my condition was getting worse...

One thing I would start doing is if you are home most of the time then go out for long walks everyday. Try and get at least 15000 steps a day. This might help bringing down the sugars and keeping the line below 13 level. I would also take some sugary drinks while on walk to treat any surprise...

Jess I dont think you need to go low carb. What are you typically eating at night? It took me long 30 years before I could figure out why I was having high blood sugars. Everybody processes food differently. So you will have to try a lot of different styles of food.
