My nickname is Jodes. I’m in my early 30’s and got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the start of 2026. I also havr issues with my vision and mobility from birth. I also have conditions including epilepsy, Hypopitarisum,, mystagmas, optic nerve hypothesis, cloister migraines, diabetes insipidus, high blood pres sur, e undetactive thyroid and a few more.
Dispute these things I try not to let it get in my way and with the help of others I attend day centre and other actives such as shopping or going for a walk. I also have a nild learning difficulty so find change of processing info difficult.

Currantky taking Novorapid 1-5 ICR and Lantus 16 units.. will be changing to fiasp
Also on other meds for other conditions including hydrocortisone, levothyroxine, Desmopressin,I’m also on a blood pressure tablet, Nortriptyline, a tablet for my epilepsy a Bd a fre visions my body either can’t obsorbe or need to help other conditions.
Exercise
I havr mobility issues so I mainly do shirt walks, chair based exercise and will be starting swimming soon.
Likes
I like making new friends, going out for food or coffee, shopping, art and music.
Dislikes
The stigma that comes with type 1, when some of my meds resolve in my mouth., change being made to my routine last minute and picking up sickness.
