diabetic for 30 years .started on tablets and worked up to insulin.did not take my illness seriously for many years but now i am in my 60s and after an heart attack and circulation problems, neuropathy, retinopathy and other things can see the error of my ways.Have recently changed from seperate insulin of humalog and then lantus at night but i dont seem to be able to get my readings down and my nurse is pushing me to carry on the experiment.Am getting worried that my blood readings are so high that it could do me more harm than good
