    London support groups

Hey everyone. I've recently moved to North London and cannot find any groups for young diabetics (18-40ish). I've been inspired by Shelley's Circle D and a new group in Bexleyheath to try and have a go at starting a group myself. Before I get ahead of myself though I'm wanting to get together a...

    Variable carb ratio

My ratio varies a lot through the day, especially when I'm at work. I need approximately double the amount of insulin for lunch when I'm at work when compared to a weekend lunch time!

    new job

Re: job interview I can only comment from limited experience as ive only had type 1 for about 8 months, but I've really found that no one in my work place really cares about it. how much insulin to take to correct a high.

    first injection, please help

It is prety wierd a first, I was terrified of needles till i got diagnosed but I'm doing fine now (only 5 months ago). I wouldnt worry about switching to more injections a day either, I got thrown in at the deep end with that and I can honestly say i barely notice I have to do it now. If you've...

Newbie saying hello + general query

Firstly, hi guys. This is my first post but I've been lurking for since diagnosis (about 7 weeks ago). As well as saying hello I've got a little question for type 1s on basal/bolus regimes. I've only recently got my lantus down to the right level and I think as its been a little too high its...
