need some advice currently taking 21 units of Lantus at night levels seem to be ok between 4.5 - 8 through the day might be a bit higher before bed as i tend to have a large tea but do try and keep carbs levels down which seems to work on my levls however i am losing weight i was 21 stone now...

Hi all, just been diagnosed as Type 1 after a few months of hell lost 4 stone in 5 weeks still waiting for insulin etc as doctor doesnt seem to be ia rush however have first appointmen with diabetic nurse i a couple of days hopefully she will sort me out I am sure this forum will help lots...
