I should also add his sugars used to be around 12. but over last few weeks are staying around 3.8-5.5 at the most. apart from headaches and light headedness he said he feels fine.

thankyou eggs it is tomorrow then! I fasted all day today. as I thought meter was broke. testing at 8 am it was 5.4 testing at 2 pm it was 7, testing at 6pm it was 7.6 ate at 6:30 just retested and its 17.6. wow, bit of a difference!

ok so now ive got a codefree monitor (thanks to those who recommended it) is it safe to load lancet in it ready for next use? its says single use. but when im feeling shakey the last thing I want to be doing is trying to load a lancet in it. just worried it wont be sterile?
