    Warning email

No I haven't seen that email. Current government advice is for people with diabetes to stay at home for twelve weeks, as they are in the same high risk category as over-70s and others with underlying health conditions.

    COVID 2019 Comorbidity with Diabetes

Thanks for this post, but this is not the meaning of "comorbidity". It has nothing to do with death. Comorbidity means "the fact that people who have a disease or condition also have one or more other diseases or conditions". Clinically, morbidity=disease, mortality=death.

Can Anyone Help Please - Event/meeting 1st September- Birmingham

    DAFNE

I did it a few years ago and had depression and anxiety at the time. It was great though - a really supportive atmosphere. It's an amazing feeling being in a room where the only people not testing their blood and injecting are the ones running the course - suddenly they were the odd ones out...

Any one else have a GP like this?

On the issue of dropping so much - this has happened to me recently. On several nights over a couple of weeks my bg started dropping around bedtime and I had to eat between 70 and 140g of carbs to get back up. It was exhausting and impossible to predict. Then it just stopped. That was about six...

Am I being stupid in going to a nutritionist?

Hi! I would agree with DavidGrahamJones when he says that anyone can call thenselves a nutritionist. I only found this out recently. You do have to be qualified to call yourself a dietician, however, so this may be a good person to see as well. I don't know about other NHS areas, but where I...
