Diagnosed around 11 years, most of that time treated with various combinations of tablets , now have added Insulin (once a day Lantus) and adopted a no sugar low carb diet, last Ha1bc was 110, now hopefully on target for around a 50 reading.. spent years oblivious to the danger of carbs

110 reading when tested prior to cataract op that they cancelled saying i need to be below 60, currently having added Insulin to me treatment and following a no sugar ,lo carb diet I have a projected Ha1bc of aroung 49...hopefully this will get me approved for the op
