Kirtomy

I have had Type 1 since 2003 at the age of 43. Feel lucky to have been diagnosed so late with it when technology has advanced so much compared to that available to those who were diagnosed at school when I was a teenager.
I think my insulin pump is wonderful.
I have been on a low carb diet for 1 1/2 years and glucose control is much better than it was but I still have issues from time to time either going high and staying there or having hypos but generally good.

I now use the libre freestyle sensor and am lucky that the NHS pay for it.
I love Scottish Country dancing and also birdwatching and seeing other wildlife.
