Well done, my first HbA1c after diagnosis was 45 after initially being at 124, I had sepsis infection which identified I was diabetic. I have another HbA1c test to go for soon so fingers crossed.
Yes I had in the beginning and very occasionally still do however iam going to get a retinal scan done in a few weeks and will know more then, make use of this forum, most informative and helpful.

My doctor has arranged an appointment for me at the retinal screening clinic to check my eyes for any damage due to diabetes, i wondered whether anyone here might have had experience on this subject.
My doctor did say its routine,
They are both (Lindt & Green & Black) on the shelves here too and i have been avoiding them, used to love chocolate:angelic:, so it would appear all of the above are ok?
