I am getting married soon and have not been long diagnosed type 1 and have put on a few pounds. I want to do the Akins diet but I'm a bit concerned. If I am not eating any carbs does this mean my long acting insulin will be all I need? Can anyone give me advice on their Akins experience. Thanks
