    My Bs was 7.2 after waking in morning . I’ve had wholemeal toast ( 16g) carbs and two scrambled eggs . I’m wondering if anyone knows why this is please ?

    Hi thanks , i wasn’t sweating at all just so hot my bed sheets were very hot too from me . i’m going to put it down to diabetes it’s just my bs was 8.2 i wouldn’t have thought that would have caused that to happen . i did have some digestive biscuits quite late in about an hour before bed

    Hi - i’ve recently started metformin -1 500mg a day - been on for 5 days so far . Had nuts and banana 1 hour ago and blood sugar mmol says 9.2 ? is this normal i would have thought it would be lower by now?

    Thanks , yes i was thinking same . 48 is just a pre dangerous level that diagnose at - my husbands not diabetic and his ha1bc is 38

    Thanks , i would like to do low carb and no medication . i’ve done lowered carb before and lost the excess weight and lowered my ha1bc . i’m just wondering if being pre diabetic for a long time before a diagnosis at ha1bc would cause issues with healing

    Thankyou for your reply jo. i was wondering if being pre diabetic for a long time ( higher than normal ) but not diagnosis level could cause the symptoms if cellulitis not healing faster than it did with the antibiotics. .
