Yes that is a good way for parents to use the system to their advantage. Its difficult sometimes depending on which hospital and what time the appointment is with traffic and parking/bus travel and thats probably the same for the majority of people attending hospital.

Yes good point I'm guessing its an issue for most children with an illness that need monitoring often and thats why I think may be diabetes UK could do something about it to highlight to the government this is an issue.

Ok yes I'll say that too my friend. In my own experience with one of my children its difficult to change an appointment as you have to wait a few months before you can get another one.
