No I don't inject straight out of the fridge

I have tried other needles and get the same reaction. I am going to have ask about changing both the insulin and needles until I find something that suits.

I saw my HCP today and unfortunately they were unable to come up with a solution at this time.

I use Humulin M3. This is my second type of insulin as I got the same reaction previously.

I have recently started injecting insulin but seem to have developed a reaction, my skin becomes red and inflamed and extremely itchy. Has anyone else experienced this and can advise me on how to combat this.

I am going to try and go lower carb and see what happens. I have got the 8 week sugar diet book so looking at that to follow the recipes. I have a meter and my readings are up and down.

My hbaic is 72 and have been diabetic for five years. Dietary wise I have been trying low carb.

I am on metformin, gliclazide and simvastatin now my DN wishes to start me on insulin. Is anyone else in this situation? Any advice would be welcome.
