i agree with justine- i dont count the alcohol when i am injecting even when drinking with a meal
if i am drinking throughout the evening i try and have carb snacks along with my drink and then i adjust my insulin in the morning depending on my blood sugars

i went on a LIFE course at my local hospital (Luton and Dunstable) - this was a four week course for type one diabetics which taught you a lot about diet and exercise as well as how and when and how much insulin to give- it was very good but i had to wait 5 years for that
