Things are going ok so far. I've been in my honeymoon period for the last couple of months. So haven't had to take any insulin. That seems to be coming to an end so I have started to take a little in the past week. Don't quite feel so bad about it now. I guess I have had time to get used to it...
It is quite nice to not have to worry about injections. I am trying to avoid sweet things which hopefully will keep me hopefully honeymooning.

my BG on diagnosis was 33. After starting the basal of 12 units a day and bolus of 1/15. After a month or so I was having a hypo everyday. Changed bolus to 1/20. Same thing happened. Changed to 1/25 same thing.

Doc says I am honeymooning and have managed to ween myself off the insulin altogether for the moment. Although not sure when the needles will be back just keeping an eye on the bg levels. Don't think it will be long.
