    BG spike after eating

Has anyone checked the Delivery Device (Novopen Echo or FlexPen) to see if the amount of Insulin released is the same each time or if any is produced at all? Sometimes my fluctuations in BG levels relate to the Delivery Device issues rather than the Insulin itself. Could also be the needles...

Unfortunately, if I have a glass or two of wine in the evening, my BG levels increase considerably during the...

As it was around 2 hours after eating I didn't add insulin as this happened the previous night (not as late) and it resulted in a hypo at about...

Suddenly Novorapid does not work - Type 1

I'M ON THE DAFNE SYSTEM OF TYPE 1 MANAGEMENT. IT'S A GOOD SYSTEM. HOWEVER, LIKE YOU, I HAVE SIMILAR CONTROL ISSUES. I BELIEVE IT'S TO DO WITH INJECTION SITES, THE RATE OF THE ABSORPTION OF THE INSULIN IN TO THE BLOOD AND HOW THE BODY DIGESTS AND PROCESSES DIFFERENT FOOD GROUPS. I INJECT IN TO...
