It's different to the advice I've received in recent years, which was to have a low carb diet and control my insulin amount based on carbs.

It suggests that we should have a low fat, high carb Plant based diet which will beneficially affect the Diabetes.

According to an article I read, Diabetes is caused by too much cellular fat, which hinders a cell's ability to respond to insulin.

Thanks for your response. It's much appreciated as I was concerned that the timing suggested it was the Tresiba that caused the sudden spike in BG levels, after alcohol, during the middle of the night as it only started after changing.
