Hi is well managed diabetes puts you in "general population" group in terms of possibility of seviere complications. This is what American diabetes association puts on their website. Although diabetes UK puts all diabetic at same level of severity. Does management makes difference
Thank you for your advice @DCUKMod I will do that way. Yes I think you right about metformin, no point to put more stress on the body. Once again thank you very much [emoji106]
Hi
I've had hernia repair surgery done today. My sugars for the last 2 years were 6/7 but they up to 13 now for few hours.
I'm off metformin at the moment but I've got some left. Does anyone experienced high sugars after surgery? If so how long they have lasted and did you used metformin?
Thanks
Thank you very much @ Bluetot1802
That's fantastic a lot of valuable information there I didn't expect you can see such stuff. Verry very helpful thanks
Hi sorry for late question. I just applied for it
So what actually can you see there?. Are all the visits and medicine taken are recorded? As well as all blood tests from previous years?
Thanks
Thank you very much for reply @kitedoc. Reason I was asking is that my a1c levels as type 2 are below 5 for 18 month now.
My initial hba1c was 8% and all the rest 4.5 to 4.8 after switching low carb and stric exercise regimen.
My meter readings itself appears to be a bit higher than a1c...
