I am a 50 year old woman diagnosed wiht type 2 diabetes in 2010 my first recorded blood sugar was 29mmols, my brother died last year aged 59 he was a type 2 on insulin, ended up on dialysis, lost both his legs and dies of a diabetic MI and pneumonia, i don't want ot end up like him, i struggle to remember to take my meds (even though i put a reminder on my phone) i struggle to lose weight (even on victoza) i love food and have a very unhealthy relationship with it and.... oh yes.... i'm a nurse!! tut tut i can hear ya...
