A cpl of rich tea biscuits is fine & a roast dinner is fine too as long as u didn't have too many roast potatoes lol [emoji16] & u will find monitoring ur be will help u keep on top of ur diabetes so u'll be fine just make sure u stick to a lchf diet & u'll soon start to feel better take care...
Yes that's normal I was the same when I was diagnosed in May but after a few weeks u will start to feel better dnt worry but u do have force urself to eat the best way is to eat little & often & u'll be fine hope ur feeling better soon take care [emoji41]

3.8 is very low when it's that low u shd hv something that's high in sugar they normally advise you to hv 5 jelly babys to bring ur levels back up & 10.2 & 12.2 is very high the best thing to do to get ur levels back down is to exercise or have a handful of unsalted nuts or some peanut butter...
Just cut out sugar as much as u can & carbohydrates u dnt need to cut down on fat so much as they say that for diabetics fat is actually good for us & it helps to fill us up as we're not eating so many carbs the key is low carbs high fat & make sure u eat lots of veg d some fruit but be careful...
