    Type 1 And Invokana

    I am type 1 diabetic with insulin resistance - in other words I have type 1 and 2!! I am on insulin and metformin. Do any other type 1's take Invokana?

    Recently diagnosed type 1 and rapidly gaining weight

    I was 8 stone when diagnosed 16 years ago. I am now 11 stone 5 lbs and CANNOT LOSE ANY WEIGHT. I have tried slimming world and weight watchers to no avail. I eat very few carbs. I am type 1 with insulin resistance and I have an under active thyroid. I appreciate all these helpful comments...

    Metformin...type 1..

    Metformin are renowned for causing diarrhoea as they don't suit all.
