Really High Cholosterol - 13 - Please Help

Hi. Yes I was 13.8 many yrs ago. I mostly eat healthy and exercise. I reduced my fat intake further but couldn't get below 8 without medication. However being on the highest dose cannot get me below 6.2. I'm told it's familial and nothing I do will make it better (believe me I've tried). I'm now...

Hi. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problems. I am on novorapid with meals and glargene at night. My problem is I run 3-4 times a week for between 30 to 50 mins (depends on time available). I'm fine in the morning as my Bloods usually go up (even if I need a corrective...

Took a few months to get my insulin requirement back down and better control. Still have a few anomalies but think this is due to the pseudo cycles I have. Good luck.

Then with worsening control over my glucose levels - usage went up 3 fold from 8 novorapid to 16 or 20 with meals - I came on here...

Menopausal and effects on blood sugars

Nice to know im not alone - the medical team have refused to commit to it being hormonal change so wasn't sure if i was just becoming rubbish at control. I have considered HRT but as no-one medical has offered it to me i have not pushed as "its just another medication in my bursting cupboard"...

Menopausal and effects on blood sugars

Hello Ladies (sorry gents not one for you) Im wondering whether other women are struggling to keep control of their blood sugars whilst undergoing the change. I am not taking HRT and have suffered to varying degrees with disturbed sleep due to night sweats and discomfort (and embarrassment)...
