    Disagreement with doctors about testing strips

    I am type 2 and my surgery has stopped prescribing test strips. I am supposed to rely on 6 monthly HbA1c results. I use a One Touch Select Plus tester and have to purchase my own test strips at around £15 per 50. (I claim my VAT exemption) I am achieving good control through regular monitoring...
