    Thanks very much for letting me know about that. I'd never noticed it before and never heard of Dawn Phenomenon. I am a bit stressed lately and not sleeping too well so as you suggested that could be a factor too I guess. I'll definitely have a look around for threads on all this. Thanks again.

    I took a BG reading as soon I got up this morning (9am) and it was 6.6, so I skipped breakfast (only has some water) and did some housework.
