Lots of walking today to make up.
96.7kg - so dropping around 1kg a month at the moment.
I'm a third of the way there to losing a third of my weight. Start was 108kg, target is 75kg.
Back in my competition ballroom dancing/mountain biking days I was 68-72kg...
A remarkably low 8.6 this morning considering the McDonalds/chocolate/crisps/fruit cake/buns binge I had yesterday.

I have brisk ten minute walks after breakfast, lunch and dinner (when I'm not out doing long walks). Today I did 15 minutes on the exercise bike after lunch instead of the walk.
I carry Dextro tablets but I'm on Gliclazide. If my blood sugar drops below 5 I'm in danger - hypos can come on really fast.
Metformin doesn't work in the same way and so is safer. Sadly I'm allergic to metformin :confused:
If you are under proper diabetes care then you can ask to see a dietician. You'll get much better advice than reading opinions on the internet!
All diets need to be properly balanced.
I have neuropathy in both feet. Numb and tingly like I'm wearing ten pairs of socks. My blood flow is excellent so there's not a problem other than the discomfort.
