    Raised B/S Level

    Will a severe cold affect the blood/ sugar level. Insulin does not seem to be as effective now as I have a severe cold.

    Newly diagnosed Type 1

    I've type 1 diagnosed last April. 4 insulin injections per day. Fairly well controlled, 85% of readings below 10 mmol. 15% can be up to 16mmol. Is any harm being done to organs with the odd reading over 10?.
