    Hi mine was 5.2 this morning normally in or around the 5 mark unless I have eaten something high in carbs the night before.

    It's time to test your BG before meals and change your diet. I was in the same place as you my BG reading was at 10.3 I have now cut that down to 5.4.

    Cold feet

    Hi, if you keep your B/G/ levels below 7mml it will calm the cold feeling in your feet, plus wear a pair themial socks in bed at night and you will find this will ease that awful feeling in your feet. I have tried this myself it does work.

    Flu jab 2017!

    Hi I'm type 2 and got my flu jab last Saturday and it's had no affect on my BG levels. I have been type 2 for over twenty years, the only time I had a reaction was the first time I got the jab a number of years ago, was off work for a week as bad as could be with the flu I will never forget that...

    When Should You Feel a Hypo?

    I feel the feel the affects when my B G falls below 4:00. My legs start to feel weak and that's my sign to test.

    Meformin, when *can* I take it?

    I have been taking 4x 500mg Metformin standard, two after breakfast two after dinner.I have been carrying our this regime for over ten years without any problems. I was advised in the beginning to use tablets after meals to avoid stomach upsets.
