I have been diabetic for around 16 years and have been ok until recently.My medication was Nova Rapid, Lantus and 2000 grams metformin a day but because of having 2 seizures during the night while going hypo(over a year apart) my medication was changed.
The new medication prescribed is Humin 1 which I later realised after a while I was prescribed before but didn't work before so now sugars have ran high all day 10-21.
I now use Nova Rapid 4 units before breakfast with 500 grams of metformin and 12 units of Humin 1, nothing midday and before evening meal 4 units of Rapid 500 grams of metformin then 8 units of Humin 1 at 10 pm.
