    Getting enough test strips

    I was diagnosed with type 2 about 3 yrs ago and on on insulin, getting along fine, my doctor has now changed to a new monitor ( TrueYou ) but only prescribed one box of testing (50) which last a week or so. Does this mean a visit to the chemist every week or should I get enough for the usual 8...
