There is but I believe that if you have started a sensor with the reader you have to continue with that sensor.

I have left my reader at home for my Libre2. Will there be a problem if I am away from it for more than 8 hours - seem to remember something about that? I have my fingerprick test kit

Update - had first 24hrs with Libre2. Mixed feeling - very surprised by how high in the night and therefore waking this morning. Checked with fingerprick - 2mmol lower than CGM. Highest ever been but did drop an hour later for breakfast when I took my insulin.

If my BG is above 10 in the hour window I should take my Lantus, can I take fast acting insulin to reduce it?

Thank you everybody for your replies I cannot actually download the app and I do not have NFC supported on my phone (I had to look that one up !) but the trial paperwork gave me the option of ordering a reader so that's what I've done. Actually I've realised that might be a really good solution...

I have been accepted for the Freestyle Libre but my phone is apparently not compatible even though it is an Android level 9 and the recommended list I was sent as got "old" phones on according to the mobile rep. Does anyone use a separate phone for their Libre?
