To all parents of type 1 kids .. watever and however ur dealing with ur kid ... it is just NOT possible tht u arent doing a gud job .. guilt is understandable but i rather tht my 5 year old has some illness tht i can atleast hope to manage in order to mk his lyf better .. i just cant imagine...

Im a mom of a 5 year type 1.. its impossible to totally restrict drinks for kids so either its diet sodas .. tht too about half a can .. in case of fruit juices .. mostly they average about 15gms sugar per 100 ml .. doesnt cause much of a spike esp if i mk my kid do some physical stuff ..

Best to keep long acting in a totally different place .. for my son who is 5 , i use different sites ... long acting one on the thigh and short acting on the abdomen .. this helps a lot

Glucagon wud help .. its the hormone thts the exact opposite of insulin.. its avlb in pre filled pens but not as easily avlbl ... best to seek medical help ..

If u feel eggs mite constipate u .. add some fiber along too lyk fresh veggies .. that shud help .. chia seeds or flax seeds shud help too
