    Wow! That is a big drop. Mine was 5.5 last night. I thought i might have a hypo at night, so i had 1 biscuit. This morning my bgs are 6.6. Can any body tell me if you have a bg of 5.5 at night, r u likely to have a hypo over night.

    Anyone on glimepiride?

    Just started glimepiride today. Felt very nervous because nurse was saying i can experience hypo's sometimes. After 3 hours of taking the tablet my blood sugar went from 8.6 to 4.9, which made me more nervous. Need some support. Anyone else on glimepiride? Do you suffer from hypo's?

    Hiya @Lamont D, yes I do take inhalers for my asthma. If i don't take my inhaler, I develop asthma symptoms within a day.

    @debrasue getting your blood glucose at 42 from 63 is a great achievement without medication. About complications I was reading that they can start developing in about 5 years. That's what scared me really. @debrasue Is it the low carb program on here that you follow. Need to find some recipes...
