thanks for geting back to me yes saw diabetic nurse she was the one who gave me the folder she was the one who said eat plain biccys and cut down of fats and sugars had 2 blood tests and one urine she wrote down my results in my folder and said see you in a year no diet advice at all and i am obese

hi i have been diagnosed as type 2 about 5 weeks ago wsas given a file to read and put on one metformin with breakfast was told to cut down on fats and sugers only plain biccys and 2 cubes of choc a week aprt from that no dietry advice and not having my blood checked for 6 months is this normal...
