I'm 20 year old, Type 1 diabetic, I was diagnosed at 18yrs old, but still to this day I'm being tested for different types of type 1 diabetes as all my tests keep coming back negative for a type 1 diabetic but I present as a type 1. Consaultants confued and says I'm by no means a normal diabetic but then who is haha. I know it's a serious matter but sometimes if you don't laugh and well as being serious you get yourself down like I have over time. Can't wait till I've got a full diagnosis and can move on. Happy with my life and what I'm doing even though my life long dream was to be a police officer I've found it's something I couldn't do it got me depressed and down as was on my way to uni and bang two weeks before I was meant to go I go diabetes and couldn't do my life long dream, I've not let diabetes win I've found another career path and I'm moving forward love my job, my colleagues and my family for the support they've shown toward me it's got me to where I am today. That's about it really it's me in the short hahaha. Here for anyone who needs a chat
