I start injections of insulin in January, still learning every day. Out for meals is the worst. I got one of these and it has helped. It does take a lot of time to get use to doing it

Hi Tim, I have been on Trulicity for about 6 months. I am also on Metformin and recently started using insulin. In the first couple of weeks I had a couple of minor stomach cramps, but nothing serious. I had no other side effects. Found it to helpful with BG control. Hope it works for you

Frio bags come in various size. The inner part is immersed in water. The evaporation of the water creates the cooling effect for the insulin. Works both for vials and pens. Your diabetic medication should never been put in the aircrafts baggage hold, but should be in your hand luggage.

I have one of these from amazon. I can get 10 M3 pens and 4 truelycity pens in it. Also comes with 2 ice packs

@emily deacon I’m here for you. Been type 2 for 10 years and just been put on insulin. Some days are good some days not so good. Stress/anxiety is our worst enemy. I go for a walk to try and reduce this. Here whenever you need to chat

Hi @leeweeks, I was the same with needles and injections. I was put on a daily injection which brought my levels down to 49. I was then taken off and my sugars went upto 131 (not good). I have been on insulin since New Year’s Eve and my last blood test had me down to 61. I was dreading ever...
