Mom to 14 yr old son diagnosed with T1D on April 23 2019.
Insulin (Humalog & Lantus) daily starting on April 23.
Honeymooning since May 22, stopped Insulin at the end of May.
We are now monitoring blood sugar levels, making careful choices about carbs, and walking for 30m twice a day.
Loving the Libre - had a little trouble with sensors falling off at some point, but we made some adjustments and we are now doing great, Thank God.
I am hopeful for the future, and so thankful for all the help and encouragement we have received along the way!
