    My really good blood meter

    Accuchek compact plus, the best ever, test strips are inside the meter, the finger pricker is clipped to the side. No messing about, I've even used it whilst riding my bike !

    I cycle to work (15 miles each way) and find it's better to eat slow acting carbs like pasta or porridge and just top up with energy drink if needed.
