Hi there, recently diagnosed and have just been given Sukkarto metformin to start taking. The age old question I suppose….. Can I take these and still enjoy a glass of wine in the evening? Thanks, Nick.

My doctor thinks I may have diabetic neuropathy. For months my untreated pre diabetes has apparently caused pain in my back and now numbness in my hands. Has anyone else had experience of this ? Thanks, Nick.

Re rail away, any new ideas are a great help. I wear a leather watch strap and I’ve never had an issue with it. Fasting blood this morning was 9.5 so I’m sure my blood test tomorrow will push my Dr into recommending Metformin , hopefully if my glucose comes down the so will the itching

Hi, very very new to this. Just been diagnosed, all a bit shocking. I’ve bought a sinocare monitor. Took this morning after fasting 9 hours. It was 8.5. Took again, different finger and it was 7.2 . Do you think I need a new or more accurate blood glucose monitor?
