    Type 2 Stabbers

Just hit a dead end now - last appointment with DSN was cancelled after waiting a month and a half for it. Guess I really do just have to accept abnormally high levels and deal with the consequences when they arise i.e. blindness, limb loss, kidney failure etc. etc. Surely it would be more...

    Type 2 Stabbers

Well in response to me previous post (may as well just respond to myself), I think you may have a point. Stop bitching and just get on with it. Thank you and goodbye.

    Type 2 Stabbers

Health care in this country is amazing. I've been to many developing countries and the standard of health care (i.e. lack of) is shocking. I suppose when I have been running well over acceptable BG levels since January, it doesn't really matter does it? Some people have no diabetic care...

    Type 2 Stabbers

First of all, thank you for your reply - it's much appreciated. And secondly, I am really sorry to hear about your illness. It must be really rotten for you and you have my complete sympathy. I just hope that it gets better soon and that you manage to find some answers as to what is going on...

    Good Diabetes Forums

Hi Does anyone know of any diabetic forums where people reply to posts? It's just that I'm looking for some advice as I'm not having much luck with the NHS (and I do put thought and effort in to my posts just in case you all think I'm the type that just wants answers without effort). Any...

DSN and General NHS Diabetes Care

Hi everyone, I recently posted about my diabetes (as most of us do!) and it got me thinking about general NHS diabetes care. I see a general nurse for all my diabetes issues. I have seen a DSN once and that was due to my BG levels being abnormally high and after I had insisted that I see one...

Apologies for not posting on the Type 2 Insulin forum!!! Is there a way to move it?

    Type 2 Stabbers

Hi all, are there any T2s out there who partake in a little stabbing? I'd be interested to hear your views on it since you started stabbing. It's certainly not a level playing field once you're on insulin (my initial thinking was that it would be). I've had periods of stability and periods...

Any T1 had experience of roccutaine tablets?

Hi I was just wondering how you got on with the Roccutane? I'm seeing a consultant dermatologist tomorrow and I'm hoping that she can prescribe me this medicine as my acne is getting really bad now and it's beginning to drain the very life out of me!!! Thanks.

    Acne/Folliculitis

Thank you all. Ironic that I've been bitten in the face by the big D - the one place everyone can see. Could be worse - much worse. But it kicks me hard. Guess I just need to find something to help me out (so to speak) :-) Happy pricking everyone :-)

    Acne/Folliculitis

Thanks for your reply and I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. It's a real drag - that's for sure. Saps every ounce of the little confidence I already have out of me haha. But could be worse. It's good to be able to chat to people who understand so that's a very good thing :-)
