Diagnosed type 2 2016
My brother was type 1, my Mum and her sisters type 2, her brothers all type 1, she had 12 siblings. I thought I ate healthily (mostly) and had escaped diabetes but I hadn't.
Also have fibromyalgia, polymalgia, arthritis osteo, rheumatoid and inflammatory, chronic pain, allodynia, asthma, diabetic neuropathy, glaucoma, high blood pressure, insomnia, IBS., tinnitus, Ménière's disease
A very good GP who told me about LCHF at diagnosis and seems to care and researches a lot to get me the best balance of numerous medications and always has time to discuss and help me decide what's best.
Lost five stone, four since diagnosis. Cannot stand unsupported use crutches to get around on a good day, wheelchair out and about and indoors on bad days.

Not much, I have to use crutches to walk a few steps and wheelchair to get out and about. My average step count is 2500 on a good day less than 500 on a bad day. I have other conditions which make exercise hard but I do as much as I can.
