Thank you, thought porridge was OK! I do eat fish so will up this in my menus. I know its all new to me but would have hoped to get better control. The metformin certainly surpresses my appetite so will need to be inventive.
Porridge or 1 piece of wholemeal toast with flora for breakfast, salad, egg for lunch, salad again, or maybe wholewheat pasta or brown rice with veggies at supper, three portions friut daily, perhaps two digestive biscuits.....
Diagnosed two months ago, metformin 500g x three times a day, also prescribed simvastatin. I'm being very careful about what I eat, plenty of exercise and so on. Am T2 so how long should it take to see results better than13.5 two hours after eating? Very worried!
