    NHS Low Calorie Diet Programme

For a cookie cutter method of bring T2 under control in the short term. That they can just roll out and still keeping the dietitians happy, because it's low fat. Very low calorie shouldn't be sold short. We know low carb is a better way and a few doctors use it.

    Need help managing blood sugar

I saw you were on 2 metformin a day, are they 500mg? If you aren't getting gut issues now. I would ask the doctor if 2,000mg slow release a day would help slow the liver releasing glucose.

    Need help managing blood sugar

I found my fasting numbers were the last ones to come right. My afternoon numbers were the first to come good. The PCOS may also be the insulin resistance with the T2. There are several associated issues. Often called metabolic syndrome. Diet doctor website has already been mentioned and is...

Very high cholesterol since switching to LCHF.

You need to do what you and your doctor think is best. I take Fenofibrate. Which is a non-statin cholesterol med. However Google said 12 hrs is optimal for a fasting blood test. I tend to be 14-16 hrs As said total cholesterol doesn't mean much. The triglyceride and HDL ratio seems very...

Newly diagnosed - consistent high readings

I would also discuss reducing the carb of the liquid peg feed with your doctor and dietitian. They make a keto one and the 2 may be able to be mixed. Perhaps 150g a day as an initial goal? As it is above the 130g some fuss about. https://www.myketocal.com/blog/tube-feeding-and-the-ketogenic-diet/

Ozempic - Has anyone managed to improve their sugars enough to come off Ozempic

I would think that when you have reached near your goal weight. You may be able to discontinue Ozempic. I would use the Newcastle diet, weight loss and reverse T2 as an example.

    Keto diet and medication reduction

What are your afternoon, pre evening meal levels like? If they are high, I would go back on a med. Otherwise I would give keto a chance. I know my FBG were the last to come good.

    High levels

Did you ring the diabetes help line, posted above? Are you able to get an appointment with your health team? They may increase your Lantus a bit at a time, to get you BG more stable. If needed they may add a meal time insulin. Once your BG is stable, you may consider a lower carb diet. That...

New T2 Advice if Possible :)

7.2% A1c on no meds. I would seek a second opinion on insulin. There are quite a few meds available to help, before I would guess insulin is needed. Metformin, normally the first med, could lower it ~ 1-1.5%. Obviously you have changed what you eat, continuing with that could also continue to...

Any tips to help in the bedroom seems like he works when he wants if you understand what I mean

As you know, A1c would really help over time. An ED clinic does this stuff every day and worth talking to. Have you looked at articles online? It's like a step ladder in treatment, as we progress along over our lifetime. Injections at the site, should be easy for us diabetics. This article also...

    Type 1 Numbers/levels

Do you have sick day rules? This is an example. I know you posted 5 hours ago and it may have resolved by now. This may help for next time. They talk of 5-20% of TDD https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.ispad.org/resource/resmgr/consensus_guidelines_2018_/13.sick_day_management_in_ch.pdf

Type 1 Has anyone else felt with retrograde ej?

There is even a small article on our website about it. You would have been told A1c is important. I know it's easy to say don't worry. The sperm is still there, worse case you may need a clinic to help when you are ready for another child...

    Nocturia

Sleep apnea can be a cause of this and may be worth asking the doctor about. It's a sleep test at home or a clinic. T2 diabetics have a high rate of sleep apnea. https://erj.ersjournals.com/content/46/suppl_59/PA2380#:~:text=Background: Nocturia (two or more, are responsible for nocturnal urination.
