General question about starting on tresiba+novorapid

Wonderfully clear!!! Thank you so much :) Infact I’m quite sure I can make novomix work but it requires a rigid schedule which I’m confident I’m incapable of keeping :/

General question about starting on tresiba+novorapid

Ok so after a lot of research this is the conclusion: If I take 20units On a u100 pen, I should continue taking 20units on a u200 pen. The pen will automatically half the volume of insulin injected into my body , thus maintaining the balance. To be tried tomorrow! Correct me if I’m wrong please.

General question about starting on tresiba+novorapid

Hi! I’ve been diabetic for 23 years now, with fairly good blood glucose levels. I was on 2 daily injections of actrapid+insulatard , and then novomix 30. I’m moving to novorapid and tresiba from this weekend, and was prescribed 100iu pens, but unfortunately I’m only getting 200iu pens. Is it...

Thank you, Jaylee! Apologies for the delayed response :) i think i'll try inner arm as well. less chances of bumping into doors and getting stuck in clothes! do you find it's equally accurate inner arm vs back of the arm as suggested by abbot?

yes, everyone has different insulin needs, and it depends on a variety of factors. the term "to each his own" applies best to diabetics :)

it seems to me like you were in your honeymoon period :) i would suggest discuss this with your doctor..you ratios may need to be recalculated. have you made any changes to the kind of food you eat? (protiens/carbs/fat/mix)

Type 1 High Glucose every morning!!!

it seems that your tresiba is acting up. around 1:30 AM it appears your bolus finished it's effects (unless you had a snack :P), then your sugar started to rise and then was brought down by your basal..normally, if your basal is set well, it should just flatten out and not come down like that...

In my experience I’ve also noticed that when I’m completely occupied with something logical that requires me to find solutions complex problems, my sugar tends to drop a bit. Even if I don’t move a single inch on my feet
