Severe hypo is below 2 mmol/l or so I thought. I get confused when someone says hypo awareness, as I thought it was when you know what triggers and how to control a hypo. Sorry if sounds daft Hirstygirl
Welcome Vickiepee to the forum. there is a free course that you can complete for hypo awareness on this site. What unawareness are you experiencing?
Your care team should be able to assist on the pump and advise.
During the daytime I get dizzy and very forgetful. I do a test and if low will reach for the jelly baby's. At night, I can only guess its a hypo, as I wake up the next morning feeling tired, PJ's damp and if I try to stand up too quickly, head starts to spin.
Hi Pegi, what was your outcome to your problem? I ask as I had an unusual high reading this morning and before breakfast but woke up feeling tried and clammy.
Welcome and fingers crossed that you get the results and provide you some answers. Did your care team say how long they expect these meds to kick in and did they say to come back if no change?
Tonight on TV is a program talking about Type 2 and a low carb diet.
I am sure it will be worth while watching for any newly diagnosed Type 2 out there.
