    Thanks @Daibell I'll discuss with my nurse (appointment made today for the 29th, that's the earliest I can get in) She did give me the Keytone strips to test, which is all ok at the moment.

    T2 and been on Metformin for 3 weeks now, first time on meds since diagnosed 2 years ago. Doesn't seem to be working for me, levels not really changed and still way too high! I eat VERY few carbs, if any, have lost over 4 stone in weight which is good. Just thought I'd put it out on here before...

    Mate, I used to have really bad indigestion, night sweats, just general bad health. Since I've been on LCHF it's all gone! The transformation is incredible, not just the diabetes, but everything.

    Seems I'm the lucky one here. Did it gradually, 1 tablet for a week, bad stomach, then calmed down, now 2 tablets, perfectly ok now, upping to the 3 next week. Levels coming down nicely. I don't blame you for giving up. Hope you went back to the doc/nurse and got something more suitable for you

    Had a bad stomach for a few days but was told in advance and so was prepared. Doing OK now, no upsets, just giving it a chance to kick in. Know I need to up the exercise though as I work from home now and I've got pretty lazy :)
