25 year veteran of nonprofit management and resource development. Have worked all over the world in disaster relief, health and economic development, micro-enterprise, and most recently in species recovery in the northern Rocky Mountain region of the U.S. Own a science education company called Owl Brand Discovery Kits and create curriculums and resources for science and ecology teachers around the world, including a resource site called Kidwings. I love my work and those who use our products and knowledge base.
My primary interest in understanding and overcoming diabetes is to enjoy my adult children's lives and potentially their children. Living in the gateway to Washington State's Olympic and Mt. Rainier National Parks, I also want to enjoy the grandeur of these places to the best of my health.
