    NHS Direct doctor says... NO testing when taking Metformin

    I am t2 diabetic and am supposed to take metformin 850mg 3 times a day I only take 1 a day and have done since being diagnosed in 2008 my doctor kept telling me to take 3 so after starting to take 3 a day and having a bad time with them I cut them down to 1 a day again and been ok with them...
