is there an alternative to Pioglitazone?

Did you have to lose your driving license when you started insulin ?

I have been taking Pioglitazone for around two weeks and my numbers have not improved, if anything they have got worse. Does anyone have experience of these pill ?, do they take time to work and do they cause bladder cancer as the instructions warn ?

I have been taking dapaglifozin for over a year and during that time I have had constant mouth sores and ulcers. I have stopped taking it and the mouth sores have gone, has anyone else experienced this side effect ?

thanks for the reply I have always used the slow release, I also find that there are different types, the fact they say that the generic types are the same, they are not. I am now trying some pills called fymocalm to see if they help, just wondered if anyone has tried these or something else ?.
