Thanks for the reply been on statin since 2007. But leg pain has only been for 5 months.

Has anyone had problems with pain in their legs whoose on metformin?. I read an article that said metformin has been withdrawn due to side effects and one is leg damage in the USA. But not sure if that is true. I've been under doctor for 4 months and they can't work out what's causing the pain.
