So I have been diabetic since I was 11 (eek, 16 years now!!)
I have recently begun a ketogenic diet, still working out some of the kinks but overall really feeling a huge benefit.
I started using the Freestyle Libre flash monitor back in Sept as who doesn't love the idea of less finger stabbing?!? This also gave me the confidence to change my diet as I can keep an almost constant track of my levels! I love it so much I could rave on about it all day if anyone wanted to listen!
I am currently starting the process of getting an insulin pump (at least carb counting is easier when you barely eat any) and hopefully that will happen in late summer.
